Our Social Mission
Our Social Mission is founded on two key principles:
1 - Fabrication and construction are fantastic vehicles for professional skills training
2 - Craft is a pathway for empowerment and improved mental wellbeing

We offer training and work experience to adults facing barriers to employment.
Every project we take on offers places to learn about the professional workshop environment, machine skills training and an introduction to carpentry skills.

Alongside professional skills training, we believe that offering access to creative craft is an important way to help learners connect with exercises that are known to be beneficial to mental wellbeing.

We provide an honest perspective of the industry, offering participants a route to understand if this is the right industry for them, whilst gaining wider transferable skills for employment.

Transferable Skills
Developing the right attitude and being able to work with others is valued in every industry.
We know the path to employment is not always straight forward.
How can you be sure you want to pursue a career before experiencing it firsthand?

At Spiritwood, we bridge this gap by offering practical work experience and training.
Our programmes enable individuals to gain hands-on skills, which can lead to further education or new employment opportunities through our network of partners.

We operate at Building Bloqs in Edmonton, London.
